And so the clearing of the backlog ends with this post! And then the real fun begins with my attempt to live up to the idea that I use my blog to capture moments.
But, before then...Banksy's Dismaland!
I attempted to get tickets three times (during each of which the website crashed..oh the irony) before I finally got a pair for 27th of August, and it felt like getting my mitts on a pile of fairy dust! I've loved the artwork of Banksy for a long time, my personal favourite piece of his is painted onto the West Bank Barrier ( check out http://www.theguardian.com/arts/pictures/image/0,8543,-10105256016,00.html for full context). It could be obvious but I am a big fan of how politically charged Banksy's works are, which is why I went a little crazy once I arrived at Dismaland! I was just swept up in the spirit of the whole exhibition, one of the world sitting on a political razors edge, and a child's voice blaring out through speakers every ten minutes eerily suggesting that we are all doomed only served to enhance this trepidation.
I attempted to capture as many little moments as I could, and in the process not all of my pictures were properly exposed so there are a few very over exposed ones, I was excited forgive me! They are in the order in which I took them from start to finish, enjoy a little tour of Dismaland! The normal drill applies, hover over and all the secrets of the pictures will be unveiled!
